Winter in Warwick - 7th Dec 2010

On a very cold day, I happened to be in Warwick and took the opportunity to take som eramdom pictures of the cold scene. Took a range of pics from landscapes to close ups to try and convey the temperature (about -7 deg C)
Pleased with the results which are presented here unadjusted
The first couple are views up and down the River at Warwick. Both taken with my 10-24mm wide angle lens with /8 setting and ISO 100. The shutter speed was set to suit.

You were still posting these when I looked last night. Yesterday was such a beautiful morning and all I could do was drive.
Your choice for the group as a whole is great - really illustrates the cold, crisp morning. Yesterday was all about the trees and the heaviest build up of frost we have seen for a long time. Well caught. Ian

  3. Hi Tony, pleased you like the pic in the Mail. Great pictures, although if I had been shooting the view from the bridge, to really 'make' an image the scene lacks another element to stand out from the crowd (the type of picture everyone can shoot), I'd have gone down to the rowing club and sweet talked someone to go out on the water, then you would have had a stunner!

  4. Hi
A great series of images that are both creative and professional in execution. They look almost infra red film style. Its good to see lots of comments on the blogs as your peers opinions are valuable in making final selections.

  5. Hi
as we discussed get all images to a near ready stage in folders and we will sit and make the final cut together after xmas.Plus any work you can do in between films over xmas would help as well. Plus if the weather comes snowny again do some more photography of nature and buildings etc,... at the same time.
